Wildlife authorities have found the first bald eagle nest in the city in more than 200 years, the Pennsylvania Game Commission said Friday. Officials are not disclosing the exact location of the nest to avoid disturbing the site, but agency personnel and volunteers are monitoring it closely, the commission said.

A half ton bronze statue of fictional prizefighter Rocky Balboa may not grace the steps of the Philly art museum after all. The dedication of the new site was scheduled for Sept. 8 but members of the Art Commission's art and architecture review committee did not approve placing the statue at the proposed spot.
